The Yellow River Basin is the root and source of Chinese culture, the soul of Chinese culture, and the mother river of China. The main stream is about 5,464 kilometers long. 5A1 Art Space(Shenzhen) and Shenzhen Classic David Cultural Development Co., Ltd. jointly launched the Yellow River Image Survey with photography artists. This is the first collective record and current regional observation in China, which has contemporary significance and value.
This project will span two years (2023-end of 2024). Through three different seasons and different regions, we will sort out the nature, beliefs, and human geography of the Yellow River Basin, and conduct image culture surveys from the source of the Yellow River to the estuary from ancient times to the present. This creation aims to explore the Yellow River culture, with the help of the "Yellow River" art image special project touring in relevant art galleries across the country, and the publication and distribution of the Yellow River art album, so that the Yellow River culture can once again enter the world's perspective and then inherit and promote Chinese culture. At the same time, limited edition art originals and other derivatives will become subsequent artworks. Photographers participating in the creation of this project are jointly presented, and can also complete their own image observation texts in the future, and the tutors will assist them for free.

Stage 1
We will gather in Xining on June 23, 2023, and complete the filming plan about nature and faith at the source and upper reaches of the Yellow River in 14 days. Please move to the end of the article for specific arrangements.

We will gather in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on September 8, 2023. We will complete the filming plan of the history and culture of the middle section of the Yellow River and the River of Suffering in 14 days. Please move to the end of the article for specific arrangements.
Stage 3
We will gather in Jinan on March 23, 2024, and complete the shooting plan of the river and the land, the river and local customs, the river and the people's sentiments, and the river returning to the sea in 14 days. Please move to the end of the article for specific arrangements.

In May 2024, the tutor will compile and publish a collection of essays, exhibition pictures and related matters.
